the 7 1/2 habits......

I have been hungry for knowledge for as long as I can remember, however, learning in the traditional way has not been my favorite medium. (school, teachers, and homework) I am a fan of the more colorful ways of learning like visual examples, person to person tuturials and making lots and lots of mistakes! I think the most difficult habit for me to adopt would be "having confidence in myself as a competent, effective learner" As a general rule, I have issues with self esteem so this naturally struck me as "difficult" The easiest habit for me to adopt would be to "View problems as challenges" I strive to always think this way in every area of my life and for the most part I use this habit often.
I think it's very progressive that our library system is utilizing this tuturial because of the emerging social impact of "blogging" I work directly in patron service and 9 out of 10 people who come in to use the public internet stations use them to "blog". I am confidant that Discovery 2.0 will supplement my knowledge effectively.
